Start here: what Rixoffice is, what every app in the suite does, and how to find the exact guide you need in the documentation.

On this page

Rixoffice is the world's first truly AI-native office suite. It runs on your desktop — Windows, macOS or Linux — and keeps every document, calculation and AI generation on your machine. This overview explains what ships inside the suite and where to go next.

What is inside the Rixoffice suite

Rixoffice installs as one desktop application with five full editors inside a single workspace:

  • RixDocs — a Word-compatible word processor with ribbon UI, styles, tables, charts, track changes and AI writing at the block level.
  • RixSheets — a spreadsheet app with a full formula engine, pivot tables, slicers, charts and an AI chat panel that can read and edit your workbook.
  • RixSlides — a presentation editor with byte-fidelity .pptx rendering, animations, SmartArt, charts and AI deck generation from a single prompt.
  • PDF Editor — edit PDF text and images in place, annotate, sign, stamp, fill forms and use more than 20 AI PDF tools.
  • Markdown Studio — a focused Markdown editor with slash commands, task lists, tables and one-click .docx export.

All five apps live in tabs inside one shell, so you can keep a document, a workbook and a deck open side by side and move between them instantly.

How AI works in Rixoffice

Rixoffice treats AI as a teammate, not a menu item:

  • AI writes and edits at the block level, so a heading, a paragraph, a table row or a slide element can be changed without touching the rest of your file.
  • Five specialist agents — Sisyphus, Hephaestus, Prometheus, Momus and Oracle — plan, execute, review and analyse work together.
  • You can use the built-in Rix AI with a subscription, bring your own API key (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter), or run models fully offline through Ollama.

How to use this documentation

Every guide follows the same structure: a short summary, a clear step-by-step walkthrough, a quick-steps list and a FAQ. Use the section list on the documentation home page to jump to any app.

Where to download Rixoffice

You can download the current release for all three platforms from the download page or through our official verified SourceForge download mirrors. Updates are delivered automatically inside the app, so the documentation you are reading always matches the latest version.
